GiveMeThisStuff is a gift list platform that allows users to create wishlists, add items from any online store, share lists with friends and family, and allow others to claim items they intend to purchase.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide a valid email address and verify it before creating lists.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
- You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account.
- One person may not maintain more than one free account.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to promote illegal activities
- Create lists that contain offensive, harmful, or misleading content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

5. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you create on the Service (list titles, descriptions, item information, etc.). By making a list public or sharing it via a link, you grant us a limited license to display that content to the intended recipients.
We do not claim ownership of any product images, descriptions, or metadata retrieved via link preview from third-party websites. This information is fetched for your convenience and displayed as-is.
6. Service Tiers
- The Service is currently free to use with no limits on the number of gift lists per account.
- We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers or modify usage limits with reasonable notice.
7. Claiming Items
The claim feature is provided as a coordination tool. GiveMeThisStuff does not process payments, sell products, or guarantee that claimed items will be purchased. Claims are anonymous to list owners and other viewers.
8. Affiliate Links
Links to supported retailers displayed on the Service may include affiliate tags. This means GiveMeThisStuff may earn a small commission if a purchase is made through those links. This does not affect the price you pay. Affiliate tags are only applied when items are viewed by others — list owners always see their original links.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that is harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
We are not responsible for:
- The accuracy of product information fetched from third-party websites
- The availability or pricing of items on external stores
- Any disputes between gift givers and recipients
- Loss of data due to technical failures
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GiveMeThisStuff shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
